Use Policy and Web Guidelines
Thank you for choosing NATCO Technologies for Internet access and/or Web hosting services. All subscribers of NATCO Technologies are required to follow this Acceptable Use Policy. This policy protects our service, our subscribers and the Internet community from illegal and objectionable activities. If you (or others using your account) fail to abide by this policy, NATCO Technologies may immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Internet and/or your account. This policy will be updated periodically. You should visit this page regularly to ensure that you are familiar with the most recent policy. Should you not agree to be bound by these terms, you should immediately stop using our service and notify NATCO Technologies’ Customer Service Supervisor at 1-800-775-6682 ext. 280 so that we may close your account. NATCO Technologies, hereafter referred to as the Provider, provides access to the Internet, e-mail addresses, and space on its Web server for the use of subscribers/customers, hereafter referred to as the User. In addition, server space may be rented by persons who are not dial-up customers. For the purposes of this document, they are included in the category of User. The User agrees that the space provided by the Provider will not be used for any criminal or unlawful purpose, including the storage of any material which promotes any criminal or unlawful activity. This includes, but is not limited to, material such as artwork, writings, or a computer program protected by copyright, patent, trademark or any other legal right. The User may not use the Provider's service to operate, or allow others to operate, servers of any type or device without written consent from the Provider. To best serve all Users who share our network and bandwidth resources, the Provider asks that Users disconnect from the service when it is not in active use. If an account is found to be connected but inactive after four hours, the Provider will terminate the connection. NATCO Technologies’ standard Internet Access (NATCO Net Modem Dial-up) is not a dedicated connection. It is not intended for long-term, dedicated use. The use of any software or hardware devices designed for the purpose of keeping a connection to the service open is prohibited. Violators of this policy will be asked to upgrade to a NATCO Technologies dedicated or “always on” connection. If the user refuses to abide by the policy or upgrade to an “always on” connection, the account may be terminated. The Provider strictly enforces the Child Online Protections ACT and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The User agrees that the space provided by the Provider will not be used to store any material that threatens, defames, or abuses any person, group, or other entity. The User agrees that the User is solely responsible for the content of any material stored in the space assigned and that the Provider maintains no control over material stored there. The Provider is not responsible for any damage caused by loss of access to or deletion or alteration of Web site pages. The User is responsible for monitoring his/her Web site and creating backups of his/her pages. The User agrees that the Provider has the right to remove any material from its server which it finds violates the spirit of this agreement and that the Provider is not responsible for any damage caused by the removal of said material. The User agrees that the Internet access or access to e-mail provided will not be used to send unsolicited mass mailings of e-mail for commercial or other purposes, a practice which is sometimes referred to as "spamming." The User understands that if spamming occurs using the account provided, the account will be immediately terminated. The Provider agrees that the identity of the User will not be revealed unless such action is required by legal authorities and that material belonging to the User will not be removed without notifying the User, either before or after the removal. The sharing of passwords and accounts is strictly prohibited and violators are subject to the cancellation of their accounts. The Provider reserves the right to monitor and/or terminate the activities of any user if the activities are adversely affecting the Provider’s services. The Provider will terminate the User account(s) if the User fails to pay for the service in full on or before the due date. User will be charged re-connect fees when applicable. The Provider reserves the write to change the rates, this Acceptable Use Policy and any service feature. The Provider will not be responsible for any damage you suffer. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, missed deliveries, wrong deliveries or service interruptions caused by the Provider’s own negligence or your errors or omissions.
