And the Winner
Is... NATCO Technologies would like to congratulate Stanley
Stankus of Mountain Home! Stanley's name was drawn from all of those who
responded to our annual customer survey. As the winner, Stanley will
receive three free months of Internet service from
NATCO.
We'd like to thank all of you who took the time to
participate in the survey. The survey results tell us what areas we need
to focus more attention on and what services are right on the money!
Remember, you don't have to wait until the survey arrives to give us
your feedback - you can call us anytime at 1-800-775-6682 or 425-7325 in
Mountain Home to report a problem or ask for help or send an e-mail to
custserv@natconet.com.

want a faster connection speed. If you feel you should be connecting
faster, please call our technical support at 1-800-775-6682 or 425-7325

-
Dropped
Connections? Survey results also indicated that some of you
are experiencing dropped connections. This is an
annoyance that should not occur on a regular basis and can usually
be quickly eliminated through our technical support. Some settings on
your computer or modem can cause you to be abruptly disconnected from
the Internet. We may be able to help you fine tune your
settings and keep you online. Call us at 1-800-775-6682 or 425-7325 in
Mountain Home.

The Thunder Rolls... We are fast approaching
the storm season and we'd like to take a moment to remind you of some
simple steps you can take to protect your computer from
lightning.
1. Unplug your PC from electrical sockets during
a storm. 2. Be sure to disconnect the modem from the telephone jack.
3. Disconnect your PC completely when leaving on long trips or just
going out for the night. 4. Purchase a surge
protector.
Remember, electrical storms can damage a PC even
when it is not on! A little precaution in advance can save you a lot of
aggravation in the event of a storm.

Send a Thank You Note to Our Troops
No
matter how you feel about the issue of war, most Americans feel
pride and appreciation for those citizens who defend the very
rights that allow us to voice differing opinions. You've seen
many of the faces of those serving in the U.S. military and participating
in Operation Iraqi Freedom on television in recent days. Nothing
makes the members of our armed forces feel better in a time like this than
knowing that their country is behind them - wishing them well and
waiting for their safe return.
Now with the power of the Internet, you can send your support quickly
and easily by visiting http://www.defendamerica.mil/nmam.html and
signing the Thank You note. So far, about 11.9 million Americans have
signed the note - let's see how high we can boost that number!

Why Am I Getting
SPAM? One factor in the number of spam messages you receive
is how often and to whom you supply your e-mail address. Never type your
e-mail address on a Web site form without first reviewing the site's
privacy policy. If you have your own Web site, it might be best to set
up an e-mail address solely for the Web site instead of publishing your
main e-mail address on the site. This way, it's not such a hassle to
change the address if it becomes over run by spam.
There are
programs that alleviate some spam. SAproxy utilizes the most recent
SpamAssassin technology to protect your pop3 mail account from unwanted
spam. To start using SAproxy today, go to: http://saproxy.bloomba.com/.
