Help us find new ways to better
serve you! NATCO Technologies' annual Internet Service Survey
is underway. Those who complete the survey and submit it by March
21 will be entered in a drawing to win three (3) months of free service
from NATCO Technologies, your Internet Service Provider. The
annual Internet Service Survey provides the NATCO Technologies management
team with ideas to better serve the current and future needs of our
customers. We appreciate your input!
Go to www.natcotech.com/survey2003.htm, fill out the form (2 to 3 minutes) and submit it for
your chance to win three free months
of Internet service! If you do not wish to enter
the drawing, leave the contact information blank and your survey answers
will still be accepted and appreciated. Thank you for letting us know
how you feel about the services we provide.

Etiquette
- Be careful with
formatting. Remember that when you use formatting
in your emails, the sender might not be able to view formatting,
or might see different fonts than you had intended. When using colors,
use a color that is easy to read on the background.
-
Don't forward virus
hoaxes and chain letters. If
you receive an email message warning you of a new unstoppable
virus that will immediately delete everything from your computer,
this is most probably a hoax. By forwarding hoaxes you use valuable
bandwidth and sometimes virus hoaxes contain viruses themselves,
by attaching a so-called file that will stop the dangerous virus.
The same goes for chain letters that promise incredible riches
or ask your help for a charitable cause. Even if the content seems
to be bona fide, the senders are usually not. Since it is impossible
to find out whether a chain letter is real or not, the best place
for it is the recycle bin.
-
Don't reply to spam.
By replying to spam or
by unsubscribing, you are confirming that your email address is live.
Confirming this will only generate even more spam. Therefore,
just hit the delete button or use e-mail software such as MailWasher to
remove spam automatically.
NATCO Technologies does not endorse or recommend any software
or program. The purpose of the preceding article is to keep our
customers informed. We do not provide free technical support for
software or programs such as MailWasher. Please see the NATCO Internet brochure for full details
on what is and is not covered by our free Internet Technical Support.
Look for more e-mail etiquette
tips in upcoming issues!
NATCO Technologies recommends
that all customers update their virus software (please visit www.norton.com or www.mcafee.com for instructions) and perform
a complete scan to confirm that their computer is not infected.
If you determine that your computer is infected with a virus, visit
you virus software's Web site for removal instructions.

For your information: Residents
in Marion and Boone counties may see men on four-wheelers
exploring NATCO property. They are contractors who are mapping
NATCO facilities more precisely using GPS technology. They will
be carrying an identification card, and a NATCO logo is on the
vehicles they use.

Service should not be affected but if you do experience an
interruption in service during this time, please try again
a few moments later. We try to minimize any "down time" by doing
